This Privacy Policy explains how DOMIQO, operated by Jerick Technologies Ltd, collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the DOMIQO mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, DOMIQO may process:

• Account information such as email address and user ID.
• Household and family information that you choose to add.
• Location information when Family Safety, Live Map, Safe Places or Journey Safety is enabled.
• Documents, photos and files that you choose to store in DOMIQO.
• Pet information that you choose to add.
• Home maintenance, inventory, expense and emergency-home information.
• Feedback and support messages you submit.
• Technical and app usage information used to maintain and improve the service.

2. Location Information

DOMIQO uses location information only when you enable features that require it, such as Family Safety, Live Map, Safe Places or Journey Safety.

Location sharing is intended for trusted household members and is controlled by the user. You can pause or disable location sharing through the app and through your device settings.

DOMIQO does not sell location information and does not use location information for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate DOMIQO features.
• Authenticate users and protect accounts.
• Synchronise information across authorised household members.
• Provide family safety and location-sharing features requested by users.
• Store documents, pet information and household records.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared only when necessary with:

• Trusted household members when you choose to use family-sharing or location-sharing features.
• Service providers used to operate DOMIQO, including Firebase and related Google services.
• Mapping services where required to display maps and location-based features.
• Authorities where disclosure is legally required.

5. Firebase and Google Services

DOMIQO uses services provided by Google Firebase, including services that may support authentication, cloud database storage, file storage, notifications and analytics.

DOMIQO also uses Google Maps technology for certain map and location-based features.

6. Documents, Photos and User Content

You control the documents, photos and information you add to DOMIQO. You should only upload information that you have the right to store or share.

7. Data Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services you use, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the security of the service.

Where available, users may delete individual content from within DOMIQO. Account deletion requests may also result in deletion of associated personal information, subject to legal or technical retention requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

DOMIQO is designed as a family and household application and is not intended as a social network for children.

Information relating to younger family members should be managed by a parent, guardian or authorised household adult where appropriate.
